Red McCombs and Bart Koontz joined forces in May 1997 to form Koontz McCombs, headquartered in San Antonio, Texas. In January 2000, Koontz McCombs Construction Ltd. was created to provide commercial construction services for the company as well as third party entities. Koontz McCombs currently has active projects in San Antonio, Austin and Houston and has been involved in the development, acquisition or construction of over 5,000,000 square feet of commercial property. These properties range from office, industrial/flex space multi-family projects and single tenant retail to build-to-suits for some of the nation’s leading businesses.

• Using the Web, all Project Managers and Site Supervisors access the same project information anytime and from anywhere with a computer and Internet connection. Daily Reports on construction progress are easily created and viewed by all authorized persons.
• Subcontracts, Purchase Orders, Change Orders, RFIs, Submittals, Meeting Minutes, Punch List and Transmittals are all created in HeadsUp which tracks their approval and routing. Koontz was able to create their own customized documents in HeadsUp.
• All documents including the above project documents, plus Drawings, Plans, Photos, whether created in HeadsUp or by other means, can be stored in HeadsUp and emailed to members of the Project team.
