HeadsUp automates your bid invitation process
HeadsUp utilizes a global master contact list that includes vendors, contacts and
employees (that supervise or self perform construction activities). A sub-group of
the global list may be selected for each project. When information is changed
in the master contact list, it is automatically changed in all sub-groups and in
all projects.
Part of the information maintained for each vendor and contact includes a
cost code, email address, fax number, and the preferred method of contact (email or fax).
General information required to build the bid document includes:
- Job Name
- Location
- Job description (specifications)
- Architect
- Plans available at...
- Project Manager
- Due Date and Time
- Pre-Bid Meeting Date and Time
- Bid Template
Our construction bidding software uses Rich Text Format (RTF) for bid templates. This means you can use any word processor
that is compatible with RTF to generate bid templates. Compatible word processors include Microsoft
Word and Corel WordPerfect.
Vendors are selected by cost code, area code, job size capability, or union affiliation.
The bid invitation document is sent to all vendors based on their contact preference (email or
fax). Any bid invitations that need to be faxed are sent from HeadsUp at no charge to our customers.
Bid invitation responses are tracked by those intending to bid and when the bid is received.
